The name of the young singer is Wilson Grinage and this one is done in the Groovy Soca sub-genre. This young singer has a very 'sweet singing style' and managed to place second in the competition; Nello Player took first place with a song title "Da Belize Eh Deh".
As you listen to the song you will understand that the song is all about Belizian pride. The singer does a wonderful job as he soothes the music with his excellent singing style. His vocals are clean and his style is very smooth. I am sure that he is one of the ladies favorite singers in Belize. I listened to the song that won the competition and my preference is with this song. Patriotic Pride is musically superior and sweeter. However, I am sure the performances on stage and the delivery and impact of the lyrical content by the artists involved played into the judges final decision.
