Ketura George is the new Calypso Monarch for Grenada Carnival 2013. Ketura wrested the title of monarch from last years winner Findley Jeffery aka Scholar who placed second last night/early this morning when the results were announced. Ketura sang "Abuse Is Sickness" for the first round of competition and followed that up with "Calypso Sickness" for the second round.
The show did not get the crowd support that the Soca Monarch received on Friday night but those who attended were treated to a wonderful night of Calypso music. Congratulations are extended to the 'New Calypso Monarch' Ketura George and to the other contestants who participated in the show last night.
