Tomorrow is the finals of the Saint Vincent Soca Monarch competitions: Ragga Soca (aka Groovy Soca) and Power Soca. The finals are scheduled to take place at Victoria Park on Saturday July 6, 2013 at 9:00 pm. There should be radio and Internet video feeds for these two competitions. Check online for the links. The following are the Ragga Soca Finalist who would be in competition to try and dethrone the reigning champion Fya Empress (she will sing "Ah Ketch It").

Scheduled for Saturday July 6th at Carnival City Victoria Park, the 2013 National Ragga Soca finals will see the 2012 Monarch Lornette 'Fya Empress' Nedd defending her Crown against nine other artistes.
Once again this year, Fya Empress will compete in all three major singing competitions for Vincy Mas as she has also been picked as a finalist in the 2013 National Soca Monarch/Power Monarch competition and will also defend the Calypso Monarch Crown she won in 2012.

James "Jamesy P" Morgan singer of the very popular song "Paranormal" has pulled out of tonight's competition. He made his announcement via Blackberry messenger with the following statement:
"It is with deep regret that i must inform you that I have removed myself from the Soca Monarch 2013 competition slated for Saturday 6th, July 2013 at the Victoria Park. My reason (s) for doing so is due to Circumstances beyond my control. However, I must at this same time wish the competitors the best of luck and CDC a successful and productive show for Vincy mas 2013".
This has led to speculation that Jamesy P has pulled out of the competition because some have the feeling that the show favors certain artists. This is just speculation but the truth will eventually surface. I am unaware of any live video feeds and will be checking for updates for a video or audio feed for the show tonight - stay tuned!
