Ricky T, the performing artist out of Saint Lucia, has accomplished the triple feat for the recently concluded carnival celebration. Ricky won the Groovy and Party (Power) monarch titles and followed up with the Road March title (most popular song played on Carnival Monday and Tuesday).
The only questionable victory for Ricky T this year was in the Groovy Soca category. Many felt that Arthur, who placed second, should have been crowned Groovy Soca Monarch. However, there was no doubt regarding the Road March Competition. This win sealed the Triple Crown for the talented Rick T!
