First Dance | Farmer Nappy | Summer 2013

First Dance is the latest release from Farmer Nappy. This song has a nice but familiar feel to it. Is it a well sung and well produced track? Yes it is however, it sounds like something that I heard before - a familiar feel/vibe. Maybe Farmer Nappy needs to take a step back and rethink his style. An artist needs to keep reinventing himself and not sound the same... when you sound the same the music becomes too familiar and can be easily passed over. Farmer Nappy is a very talented singer but he needs to 'reinvent his style'!

This song will get the airplay it deserves then some simply because Farmer Nappy is a very popular singer and because of his exposure (touring) with Machel Montano HD. The song and music is on the Bounce Riddim for Grenada Carnival aka Spice Mas 3013. The song  is good but Farmer Nappy's singing style on this track makes it sound too familiar. In other words it does not sound fresh and hits me when I hear the music.
