Prisoner | Nadia Batson | T'dad/After D'Carnival 2013

Several Carnivals are scheduled to take place in the Caribbean region as Spring rolls into the North American Summer. This means that tourists will be heading for their favorite destinations and may just take in the Carnival celebrations in Saint Vincent, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Antigua & Barbuda and Crop Over Kadooment in Barbados. This is the ideal opportunity to showcase new music and that is exactly what this post is all about - new music and it comes from Nadia Batson out of Trinidad and Tobago.

Nadia surprised us with an after Trinidad and Tobago Carnival release today on the on YouTube and Islandmix (Julian Promotions). The name of the song is "Prisoner" and she sings the song with the enthusiasm of someone who knows something and is willing to put their heart and soul into the production of something good. This song was produced by Don Iko and was mastered by the now famous and very reliable Precision Productions out of San Fernando, Trinidad.

Nadia is doing her thing with hear sweet singing voice. For this song she wants to be your 'Prisoner' and will do whatever you want. This is music for having fun, for dancing and wining and having a West Indian good time. Take a listen to the song and if it make you want to jam your special someone in a corner then Nadia had done her job well. If that is the case then leave some positive feedback for the artist and production team via the comment feature of this posting. Until that time simply play the music and 'jam up in ah corner' because 'you are the boss and will do what you want'. Don't ask me.... that is what Nadia said!
