Last Man Standing | Edwin Yearwood | Crop Over 2013

This is one sweet song from the veteran Edwin Yearwood for Barbados Crop Over 2013. This song is on the Baptist Riddim and is titled "Last Man Standing". Edwin's vocal are controlled, clear and to say it without sounding like I am drinking D'Koolaid... sweet like sugar cane!

I expected a little stronger Baptist vibe from the song but I love it all the same. I can imagine Super Blue doing his thing on this Riddim - that would be sweet! However, this one is all about the vibe brought to the riddim by this very popular and still excellent singer Edwin Yearwood. I like how controlled and smooth his singing style is on this riddim. I hope this song does well for Crop Over and with good marketing it should do well for the rest of the year for upcoming West Indian style carnivals.

If you love the vibe dropped on this 'Baptist Riddim' by Edwin Yearwood then please leave your feed back via the comment feature of this posting. If you love the riddim produced by Kevin 'Bubbles" Marshall and Darien Bailey then let them know how you feel. Give it up for the production team for a song that is simply put... SWEET!
