This is new music from the artist known as Kenne Blessin. He is one of many artists releasing new music for the Antigua and Barbuda Carnival celebrations 2013. This does not sound like a typical song that you would hear for Carnivial. This is the type of music that can be played anytime of the year and not be labeled a Carnival song.
The vibe of this song is one of love and sets the scene for a very relaxed and groovy session. Most ot the songs that I have heard thus far for Antigua's carnival have a very relaxed pace. I don't believe that I have heard one that can be labeled a Power Soca Track. The music releases I have heard have a very groovy and sweet vibe. This is the way Soca Music was intended to be... just the right pace with lyrical content that one can relate to all year round not just for Carnival.
Take a listen to this song from Kenne Blessin and when you are finished play it all over again and then call someone and tell them about the song. These singers need to become household names in the entire Caribbean region not just at home. Enjoy the music.
