Bomba Soca | Frenchy |Guadeloupe Soca 2013

"Born in France, raised in Guadeloupe, this is my life as a Frenchy from Guadeloupe in Miami"... This is new music from Guadeloupe; not Zouk but Soca - Enjoy!

This is my new endeavor: Music. I grew up with a passion for Soca music, which I used to call "Jump'Up" in Guadeloupe. From dancing, jumping up and down, singing along, practicing in front of the mirror, Soca always moved me like no other genre.

I grew up listening to Bouyon from Dominica, starting with WCK.I became a teenager listening and learning how to move to the beats of Square One, and graduated in the streets of Trinidad.

Carnival has always been part of Caribbean culture. No matter what islands one is from, Carnival is part of our annual cultural celebration. Guadeloupe, where I grew up, had a different type of carnival, concentrating on live instruments in the street.

So listen to my first song, "Close Your Eyes". I wanted to share my passion for carnival, happiness, joy, dance and Caribbean unity...
