This is the second release by Melissa for St. Vincent and the Grenadines Carnival 2013. This one was done by Crystal Clear Studios. I know that Vincy Mas is months away and these early music releases may not be remembered or get much air play when the festival launches officially. However, this is the time for the not so popular singers to release music that will get some attention simply because there are not many new Soca music releases since Trinidad and Tobago's carnival ended. This song, titled "Show Me Ah Wine", is the fourth release that I have heard to date for Vincy Mas 2013; however, I must say that I have not been thrilled by the songs I have heard to date - maybe that will change soon.
What I do know is that "Message" by Pumpa with featured singer Skinny Fabulous is the one that I like to date. However, Pumpa is from the USVI and as such I don't count it as a Vincy release. I am sure the top billing singers will release their songs soon and the conversation will surely change.
