This is new music from Volume International Band released for St. Thomas Carnival, USVI 2013. The name of the song is 'Home Is Where The Heart Is' and it is a song that anyone from the Caribbean living overseas can relate to for sure or someone in love will understand. This one has a message and the music is extremely good - in other words sweet to dance/groove on the dance floor especially with someone special in your life.
This is not jump and wave music but a very smart concoction of sweet lyrics layered on top of some really inviting rhythms. This is the type of music that you can play over and over again and never become tired of listening.
What I find so refreshing about this song is the fact that it is not based on a Carnival theme yet it will sound so sweet in a Carnival fete. I applaud Volume International Band out of the US Virgin Islands for making music that can and will be played in season and out of season where season relates to 'festival music' or as we like to say in the Caribbean, Carnival music.
