After J'Ouvert comes the large bands with their 'Pretty Mas' presentations. However, don't expect to see the elaborate costumes that will be on display on Carnival Tuesday. Today is more like a trial run for the various bands to get the parade route right and to have the mas players come out and have fun. They will be in some form of costume or tee-shirts identifying the band they are playing with for the festival. It is just a day to have fun and to get the various sections organized for the real mas on Carnival Tuesday.
