'Mind yuh bees-wax (business) because we have a new track from Machel Montano HD; the track is titled "Doh Mind (My Business)" and it was released on islandmix.com just a few minutes ago. This is the Trinidad and Tobago run of a Crop Over Grand Kadooment festival rhythm package done earlier this year. This time around we have Machel Montano HD along with Kerwin Dubois on another track posted on this blog.

This music has a familiar sound to it and it is because the riddim came out in August 2012 for the Crop Over Festival in Barbados. If you remember well Lil Rick had a song titled 'Waistline Energy' but you may be familiar with the Benjai Song titled 'Cyah Bother We'.

The riddim was considered worthy enough to be added to the list of riddims already released for Carnival 2013 in Trinidad and Tobago. This is the Trinidad edition of the rhythm package known as the 'Caveman Riddim'. This riddim is too familiar and has been out some time now. I don't think that Machel has done enough here to make this vibe feel new. the music stands out too much and, as a result, everything feels too familiar.
