This is the other side of the vibe; this is new music that features the voice of Daria as she dances the night away on music produced by Xpert Productions on the Heavy Bounce Riddim. The previous post featured the song 'Feeling Ah Vibe' from the same Riddim. This track, featured for this posting, is titled, "Dance The Night Away"!

I have already praised the work done by Xpert Productions on this music riddim and after listening to this one I felt like there should be more... I expected to hear more but then the song stopped. Does this mean that I did not like the song? No! I was enjoying the music so much that I wanted to hear more of it! I enjoyed the way Daria sang on this track... sultry and inviting!

I guess that you can say the she hooked me and I wanted to hear more from her inviting vibe. I love the way she says, 'dance the night away 'baaabby'... with emphasis on the baby. Yes, she made me feel like I was her baby!

This song has a really sweet feel to it but I don't see it doing well for Carnival in Trinidad because it does not have a carnival vibe to it. The song has a vibe that will 'bring it' for parties and in the club scene. This one will not get much airplay in Trinidad (if at all) but should be on just about everyone personal mp3 player. This is not a Carnival song but a song that has a vibe that couples and lovers will appreciate and love to listen. This is not a wine up on me song; this is a song to groove with someone special. I love the track and it will have a life outside of the Carnival scene.

Pros:

Love the vibe, love the way Daria sang on the track. I felt the emotions coming out of her vocal performance. The music done by Xpert Productions felt so different on this track and that is a real compliment when one riddim can produce two songs that feel so different. Love it!

Cons:
This is not a Carnival song but it is released at a time when Carnival songs are in the spotlight. The managerial team will have to find the right time and place to get this one on the air. This song should be highlighted during an evening show with a Jock who can set the mood before dropping the track. This song will not get much airplay in Trinidad unless a lot of work is done to promote it in TnT!

The Bottom Line:
I love the vibe from this track. I enjoyed listening to Daria on this track and especially enjoyed the production work done by Xpert Productions. This is one that will be on my iPod Touch!
