Wining Queen | Denise Belfon | Project 5/T'dad Carnival 2013

Damn this is it, this is the one - Saucy is the boss! This is the song I initially liked on the Riddim when I heard the teaser; and   it is definitely my song for the season to date. Saucy you took this one! I liked the Machel song but this song is incredible. The delivery is so saucy and infectious.

She got everything right with this one, the pace is just right, she sounds so sexy and the vibe is so sweet. I can't get enough of this song - damn they got this one right!

OK, so now that you know that I am all for this song and singer and think that it is the one to watch we still need to do our thing regarding our official take on the song and music and whether or not the song will live up to its potential - here we go:

Lyrics:
Denise spoke the truth and the lyrics simply stated the obvious - Denise is without a doubt, the winin' Queen of Soca. I am blinded by these lyrics - this song has me drunk with delight!

Vocals:
She got it right! The vocal delivery is on point, sweet, sexy, sultry, mischievous, wicked you say it and it is all of what you think and more. Denise delivered with a controlled vocal performance!

Music/Production:
Whoa! Star Blu and Millibeatz did it! This is the Riddim of the season. Someone has to come and dethrone this one! The riddim has a nice pace and set for grooving. This is an excellent production. I like everything about it!

Replay Worthiness/Lasting Appeal:
This is the one... I have said that from the start. Iwer has to move and let Denise pass when this one hits the fete scene. Can you just imagine all those ladies living up to Denise's groove? This is going to be a song to literally watch the action (and get into the action) when it is played. Any sensible DJ will have this one on serious rotation! The answer is yes, it has replay appeal and will be the number one fete song of the season.
