Umi Marcano is a solid and consistent performer from the Trinity island, however he has not translated his talents into a smash hit to date. This guy can sing with the best out there and comes good every year but has not done the damage that his talent dictates. I liken his singing style to that of Farmer Nappy and even thought Farmer's navel string is buried deep in HD he is a known and, in demand, entity. This should be the same for UMI!
This is a solid production from Umi and Rama Studios. The song was written by Kernal Roberts and has a very relaxed vibe that should do well in the party scene. I don't think that it will be a hit in Carnival fetes but for the boat rides and the club scene this song should get its fair share of play. UMI may not do as well on the radio because those jocks are difficult to predict and it is known that they stick to the big name singers in the business!
