Dutty | Dale Ryan | Trinidad Carnival 2013

What am I hearing here? Doesn't this musical treat remind you of Kerwin Dubois? Now this song took me by surprise  and I wonder if it was the intention of the producers to get this singer's mood and overall feel of the song to intentionally remind the listeners of Kerwin Dubois. Maybe I am totally wrong but I listened to the track a second time and get the same feeling.

I do like the vocals and the music is sure to get you shaking something. On YouTube there is an acapella version of the song that features the singing talent of Dale. I have included the link to that version here for your listening pleasure. This singer is very interesting. What is your take on this track? I personally love the vibes coming from this singer!

Lyrics:
This is a well written song. The writers took some time and put together some clean and fun lyrics that takes into consideration the true spirit of Carnival masquerading - well done!

Vocals:
I really like the singing style and general pleasant sounding voice of this singer. I did mention that he reminds me of Kerwin Dubois and that is a compliment to his singing ability.

Music/Production:
Excellent, I love everything about this one and it is a pity that I am in a hurry to get this posting out. Madmen Productions have done it again - this song/production should be a hit!

Replay Worthiness/Lasting Appeal:
It would be silly for radio stations not to play this track. It is is a well written, well sung and musically flowing rhythmic track that personifies the flavor of Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival. This song should be a hit and will get its fair share of radio play. I expect this one to really set the mood in fetes and in the club scene.
