This is new music from Patrice Roberts; the title of the track is "Bruk Out". The song was written by Patrick "Mista Vibe" Gordon and produced by London Future. The music is rhythmic and full of energy. Some may be turned off by Patrice's high pitched voice but for those who love listening to her music this one will fit in just the way they like it.
The lyrics of this one is meant to entice the young ladies to 'Bruk Out and wine up on it' and as she said in the song 'all the gyal dem'. Don't expect to hear any uplifting lyrics here just music to make you wine - both males and females - it is what it is. Vocally this is a typical singing performance from Patrice. She sings with a piercing sound at times. However, this one feels right for all 'winers'!
The music production for this track is very good. The music has a true Carnival feel to it and the pace is just right for feting. Now in terms of replay worthiness and lasting appeal this will all have to do with the manner the promote the song. The radio stations are not doing any favors for artists these days. In other words they have to get out there and do the leg work to get the song played on the radio stations. The DJ's playing music in fetes are different - they will play what the people want and I believe that this one will get its fair shake in the fetes.
