Today I saw an interesting discussion thread posted on islandmix.com. Apparently MTV's 'The Real World' will feature music produced by Precision Productions. I am unaware of the angle the program will take but it should provide some interesting viewing this Wednesday (08/01/2012). If the show is about the music then it should be very interesting however, if it is just music playing in the background then it would simply become a feel good situation... a good promotion for Precision and their artists.
Everyone who loves Soca music, regardless of territory, should watch this show. Check your program schedule for the actual show time. I am sure the show will be archived for future viewing (just in case you don't get to see it when it is initially premiered).

"One of the most challenging aspects to creating music in a small twin island republic is finding innovative ways to showcase your product on the world stage. Precision Productions has started that push by ensuring our music is available for sale on such major digital retail sites as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Trinidad Tunes, and many more.
That was just the beginning though, and not enough to satisfy our ambitions. So, when MTV sent out a call for Soca music from the region, we were only to eager to answer it.
After many hours of negotiations and wading through a wide sea of red bureaucratic tape, it gives the entire team great pleasure to announce that our enduring musical effort has been recognized by MTV.
They have chosen music from our catalogue for use in their extremely popular “The Real World” series. This season the show was filmed in St. Thomas and its producers wanted that authentic Caribbean feel, especially in the soundtrack.
This has been a year of tremendous obstacles, which we have met and surmounted with dedication and passion. Through all of these hills and valleys, Precision has grown from humble beginnings to now being a viable business entity made up of a supporting cast that includes our brilliant entertainment lawyer, Ms. Carla Parris (LLB, LLM), an imaginative graphic arts team, alongside our very creative communications professional, Mystie Thongs, amid talented engineers, gifted musicians, exceptional songwriters, and diligent producers-in-training who all work harmoniously and arduously together with head producers Kasey Phillips and Nikholai Greene to generate the final product the world sees in all of our releases.
Undoubtedly, this accomplishment would never have occurred without the contribution of each member of Team Precision.
With that in mind, it is with great joy and overwhelming pride in everyone at Precision Productions that we invite you to view MTV’s The Real World this Wednesday August 1st and next Wednesday August 8th to listen in and enjoy as we make our millions-of-worldwide-viewers debut.
