Here is the list of the semi-finalists for the Independence Calypso Competition 2012. This Competition commemorates fifty (50) years of Independence. The twenty five (25) Calypsonians selected for the semis came from an original listing of one hundred and seventy preliminary contestants. The semi finals and final will showcase some very excellent songs. Calypso is alive and well in Trinidad and Tobago!
The semi-final show will be held on Saturday 11th August 2012 at Palm’s Club, San Fernando commencing 8:00 PM Sharp.
