Of all the songs on this riddim this song by Benjai has a totally different feel and is somewhat different from the work he did for Carnival 2012 in Trinidad. This is one you will have to get a feel for but I like it all the same.
Benjai is a unique talent and this song does not sound like it came from the Caribbean region (I am serious). This does not have the typical Caribbean sound that we hear from the traditional carnival venues around the region. The Lucians have done something special with this riddim and I really like it. Every song on the riddim has a unique feel and this one riddim surpasses anything released for Vincy Carnival. I am so serious when I say this. To be honest it keeps getting better and tonight I am releasing giving exposure on this blog to three songs from the riddim for your listening pleasure. This one from Benjai is the first of three.
