Kevin Lyttle's Wine & Go Down | No Turn Me On!

It is always a good sign when Caribbean artists release new music intended for the International music circuit. Kevin Lyttle who shot to fame with his song titled "Turn Me On" almost a decade ago (2004) is once again trying to light the fire that gave him the notoriety that he wants to rekindle once again. We wish him luck in this regard.

However, there is one person that I know who is the 'master slave, Kevin Lyttle can't do no wrong fan'. He is the fan of all fans and is a Vincentian who believes that Kevin Lyttle is God delivered as an expatriate Vincentian who calls Miami his new home. He is rabid and goes against all odds on islandmix to carve out a name for Kevin Lyttle. That person is Vincypowa and he does not care that most people on islandmix think that he is a nuisance... in other words an islandmix Kevin Lyttle fan boy!

This new song by Kevin Lyttle is a song that most Vincentians would call Ragga Soca. If you ask most people what category of music the song belongs most might say it is an R&B/Dancehall fusion mix. Do you think that the song will be a hit? Well there are some of us who think that the song is lacking and it is definitely not Soca. I will bet anyone that this song will not be a hit for Vincy Carnival. Maybe someone from St. Vincent can write in  and let us know what are the current chart toppers in St. Vincent and how 'Wine and Go Down' is doing in Kevin Lyttle's homeland. This song will not be a hit... not even in Vincy Land!
