This song was released last year, some time around November, but has recently been picking up some airplay and chat on the web. I listened to the song and immediately questioned what audience this song was created to attract. One site (Jam2Vibes.com) labeled the song RnB-SOCA and this may be true but I believe this was released with the upcoming Carnival in mind. This is definitely not Carnival material but music that should have and 'anytime play feel to it' - that is providing that the DJ's in Trinidad 'are in the mood'. No, I won't say this is SOCA music but then again everything is some sort of 'fusion' today.
Regardless of what you think it is a nice groovy track that deserves airplay and a spot in your mp3 player. Yes, what the hell this should be a nice fit for any iPod Touch or iPhone!
I was not pleased the copy of the track I had because one channel was not sounding right. Now after obtaining a better quality copy I have to say that this song is growing on me. Listening to it on my headphones ... everything sounds really good. I like the music and the singer's voice is growing on me. I approve this one is a keeper!
