There is no let up regarding music production coming out of Trinidad and Tobago. The 'young blood' that have taken control of the fast paced Soca/Fusion Soca blends are relentless with the new music. Today we feature another track from the music factory called Precision Productions out of San Fernando Trinidad. The name of the track is "No Chaser" sung by a young man named Kutitt!

When this song started I was impressed with the music introduction and what I heard in terms of the music creativity/riddim used. Yes it is Soca but it is not too fast - it is just the right speed. There was some thought regarding the music for this one... But... Yes there is a but!

I have to be honest here because I don't want anyone to think that I am pandering to works done by any production company simply because I like their body of work. The music is sweet but the lyrics leave much to be desired. This was written for 'here and now'. The song will not have any lasting appeal simply because the lyrics are void of 'lasting appeal'. To put it bluntly the music was wasted on these lyrics. These are harsh words but if you want to find your place in this industry you have to say something that means something to people and do it in such a manner that they will remember 'who uttered the words' in speech or in this case, song!
