This song was featured on my November 7, 2011 posting but has 'wheeled and come back again' because of the video release. The video was taped in the Cayman Islands and was directed by Sean Bodden. The track was produced by Jusshane Productions & Jason Gilbert! The video has received good feedback on islandmix.com already with some of Machel's harshest critics giving the production their 'thumbs up'.
Now don't be fooled by these guys giving their approval OK. The approval has nothing to do with Machel but simply because it was done by people outside of Trinidad and Tobago. Does that sound silly? Of course it is silly but that's just the way things work on islandmix!
Did anyone notice that the spelling of "Wine" was emblazoned on the video and for the song as "Whine". I hope they don't mean 'whine' as to complain with a high pitched shrilling voice. I get the feeling that someone 'messed up really bad here' and really meant 'Wine' as in gyrating ones waist. Don't you think so!?
Having said that, we should note that in the urban dictionary that the "Jamaican patoi for "wind" when a shorty starts booty shaking, in a slow and provocative way".
