This song has me somewhat confused. Some websites have the song advertised as "Shawty" while others have it as "Shawdy". The latter name came about because this latter spelling is included in the recently released 'Official music video.
The first release, as depicted in the album jacket on the left, has the name as "Shawty" - I decided to use this version. If you know otherwise please let us know.
This song came out of the Precision Production factory (Quality Control Specialists). These guys are really putting their stamp in the music coming out of Trinidad and Tobago.
Drue "The Local Foreigner" in the land of his birth (Antigua) is considered a Trini2DBone having spent his early years growing up in Cocoyea village San Fernando in the southern belt of Trinidad. The southerners are doing it with Drue and Precision Production coming out of Sando! A little Arima charm is added with the lyrical charmer Bunji bringing up the rear. This is a good one!
