This is new music from the one and only Shurwayne Winchester. The song is titled Nobody Badda (Dan We) and was written By Shurwayne.
On the production side the work was done by Adam "King Bubba" Elias & Omar Gorg Sobers for Platta Studios/Barbados.
Not everybody loves Shurwayne's high pitched voice but for those of us who do this is a 'wicked one' because "Nobody Badda Dan Shurwayne!" Shurwayne seems to like the mix out of Bim Country after his re-mix of jiggle it with Inches. This is good for the region and for the Soca Industry .. Bim and TnT... Way to go guys!
The music, the beat, the baseline caught me early in this song. The give and take between Shurwayne and the back up singers is also nice on the song. This one also pays tribute to another 'Shawty' or just to 'shawties' in general. Wine gyal wine... wine it! Well I guess you get the idea of the theme of this song. I like it because the music is different. I don't know where this one should be parked... soca or just a different take on our Caribbean music. I don't get a traditional Soca beat so this one may fall under the umbrella of Island Pop ... you tell me because I really don't know where this one goes!
