Straight off the bat, this one can be considered a square cut in cricket - a sweet shot if you can execute it. This song has some nice lyrics and a genuine effort to 'tell you something'.
In term of the vocals, I don't think you will have any reason to be critical. Deylon's voice is smooth and the recording is clean. One can understand everything hat he says unlike some artistes.
The music is good, nothing out of the ordinary buy clean and tight - I like it. Most of the music today is produced on computers and this one even though it is clean could do with some 'brass' to light up the song even more.
The music industry in Trinidad is pumping out loads of music and one would expect to be hearing these songs on the radio but unfortunately this only happens during the carnival season unless you are a follower of Wack radio out of San Fernando that plays local content 24/7. Well what I want to say is that even if this one stands a chance of constant rotation the culture of the Trinidad radio stations will not permit this to happen - what a shame.
