If you were asleep at the wheels then you missed last nights Chutney Soca Monarch competition. The show took place at Shinner Park in San Fernando, Trinidad.
The duo of Nishard Mayrhoo and Neval Chatelal beat out last year's champion (Omardath MaraJ) to take first place last night. The winning song was entitled "Masala" while the second place song was entitled "Me and Meh Mothor Car".
