Breakout Artist Of The Year 2014 | Mr. Killa vs Erphaan Alves

We have the final cut and in one corner is Grenadian "Rolly Polly" sensation Mr. Killa set to take the stage against the very talented Erphaan Alves (Trinidad) who wants his "Contagious" vibes to bring home the title of "Carib Breakout Artist Of The Year" for 2014.

This is a competition within two competitions. On Fantastic Friday, when we crown a Groovy and Power Soca Monarch for each category there will be voting taking place for this newly added category.

The finals online voting has started but the final 'judgment' will take place on Fantastic Friday and the lucky winner will be crowned. This is a family affair -Trinidad vs Grenada; Erphaan Alves vs Hollice "Mr. Killa" Mapp.

"The Carib breakout artiste of the year is powered by SLAM100.5 FM and driven by Ford Motors". The winner will walk away with a new Ford Ranger SUV.

Whom do you think will win this inaugural contest? Will Erphaan Alves be able to ward off the tsunami popularity of Mr. Killa? This is going to take a grand effort from Erphaan because the song "Rolly Polly" may just be the biggest/most popular song for Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival 2014.

The final performances may just determine the winner but lets face it this is Mr. Killa's year and he will have to crash and burn on stage in order for Erphaan Alves to win this competition.

Final verdict... Mr. Killa will win the "Carib Breakout Artist for 2014! Here are some of his accomplishments over the years (source credit @manishwaters on islandmix.com/Can Mr Killa Take The Crown in TNT???):
