This a teaser! Don't get in a tizzy if the name of the song is different when they release it over the weekend or next week. The teaser appeared on islandmix.com this morning and as it is with gossip or breaking music news headlines a decision was made to also get in on the early hype.

The talk about the song is already positive with most of the early comments centering around "maaaaaaaaaaaaadddddddddddd"... that is just the way it is these days whenever "D'Viking" better known as Bunji releases a new song. 

What I like about this one is that it is a production of JusNow! These guys are fantastic! JusNow is a duo of talented producers/musicans from Trinidad and the UK. The team is comprised of Sam Interface (Producer / DJ from Bristol, UK) and LAZAbeam (Percussionist / Producer from Trinidad) and when they combine their musical minds only rhythmic honey is served - that is the Jusnow vibe! I expect something really good! If you can recall Jusnow is the team of producers who gave us the superb version of "Tun Up". That remake created musical waves in the UK! I can't wait for this new track to drop!

As the name applies "We Have A Truck On The Road" we can expect this one to resonate well for the road worriers on Carnival day. It is quite early and after all is said and done Bunji may have about a bakers dozen of song releases for Carnival 2014. This may be the carnival road song or simply a teaser track to set up something bigger and better yet in the works. 

Whatever takes place this is Bunji time and it looks like, in Trinidad and Tobago at this time, he is about to supplant Machel Montano as the "Soca King" or at least the artist putting out the most songs and innovative tracks. He has variety and the man can drop lyrics with such ease. He is yet to rival Machel with his stage presentations and his ability to get the audience involved in his performances the way Machel does... but he is on the cusp.

So what do you expect from this song? Are you expecting something special or you simply don't care... you simply want to hear more from Bunji. Hopefully we will not have to wait long for lift-off and Bunji will simply create havoc - just mash up d'place with Jusnow! I am sure people can't make up their minds about which song to make their anthem because Bunji is knocking them down and dropping songs 'in ah frenzy'. I say simply load them all up and feel good that we are so lucky to be a part of this great Garlin musical journey!
