This man is consistent with his music and singing but it appears that this one will take some time to sink in for the many fans and just lovers of Soca music. I noticed the comments online as not being too enthusiastic initially. However, I like what I hear and will keep on supporting Machel and Precision Productions.
It was just yesterday (morning) that I posted the Instagram teaser for this song and the expectations were great. There is an enthusiastic new team of writing blood infused into Precision Production (Akeem 'Preedy" Chance and Stephanas 'Steffy' Ramgattie) and they did not disappoint with the 'Shameless' lyrical content. These two dynamic writers teamed up with Machel, Nikholai and Kasey not to bring shame and scandal to the company but to bring the essence of Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival where one can 'wine without shame when Soca hit yuh brain'! Hell yes... these guys have the right stuff and Machel delivers with masterful vocals that simply ride an excellent Precision infused musical production.
I love the track but then again this is music from the best out of Trinidad and Tobago - Machel Montano HD and Precision Productions - this song has a vibe so go and "play yuhself". I know that when Carnival day arrives and it is time to dingolay you will morph into a Carnival reveler and express your inner feelings of exhilaration in dance and your expressions of inebriated parlance. Now you can encapsulate the experience with one word - Shameless!
