"This is the 2nd consecutive year that Jumo Primo (who is a member of a member of the Buyan Lee band) has won the competition....his song Fireworks which many believed was not as good as his entry last year sealed him the monarchy and proved without a doubt he is the best performer in the country.

The shock of the evening was Kwasi Edmondson who walked away with 2nd prize, although his song wasn't given a lot of air play over the weeks leading up to the competition sent the crowd insane with his up tempo entry 'Same Thing"- there wasn't a bigger erruption in the National Park ... It was his first year in the Competition has received the title of best new comer. The 3rd place went to Adrian Dutchin (a multiple winner in previous years)".
