Wreck D Road | Shal Marshall | Trinidad Carnival 2013

I don't know what you will think after listening to this one but there is something about this song that does not feel right. It is obvious that this one was produced to fit into the Power Soca void but this one feels like a drum riddim with some extra instrumentation added to make it feel complete.
I guess this one will find favor with many listeners but I don't see this song doing anything other than adding to the list of songs released. I don't think that this song will make waves but will quickly fade into the background. It may have the pace but something simply does not feel right about this song. Maybe you may feel differently about it and I would surely like to get your opinion.

I really like the album jacket that came with the music blast but really don't think that this song has what it takes to "Wreck D Road"! Please leave your comments via the comment feature of this posting.
