After listening to the music I have to admit that it has a nice vibe and should be one that would do well in the fete scene. It has a nice J'ouvert jam vibe - nice job DJ Gomez!
It is always difficult to take a classic song, and one done by a beloved singer like Maestro, and remake it to have mass appeal with a very 'iffy' public. Trinidadians and Tobagonians aka Trinis are quick to praise but won't hesitate to tear you down in a second. This flavorful remake by the lyrical master aka Bunji Garlin will be one of his better productions for Carnival 2013. Old and young alike will love this vibe that he has injected in a classic track. The remix presented here was done by DJ Gomez and is the Official Remix for the track.
