Journey Continues | Bunji Garlin | Trinidad Carnival 2013

Trinidad and Tobago's music is on top of the Soca World for 2013! Right on the heels of Machel Montano pushing his "Energy High" on the Intercol Riddim comes the iSpaniard with his offering titled "Journey Continues". The battle lines have been drawn and it appears that this year it is definitely a two man race for the best Soca Album for 2013 - Bunji vs. Machel!

The Soca Monarch Competition with be one of the best in a very long time. Both Competitions will be interesting and a joy to watch come 'Fantastic Friday'. This new song by Ian "Bunji Garlin" Alvarez is full of energy and also features live drums done by Jelani "Pops" Shaw.

The riddim, named 'Intercol Riddim', was co-produced by AdvoKit Productions and Precision Productions. The song, "Journey Continues" was written By Ian Alvarez and co-written by Kit Israel, Nikholai Green and Kasey Phillips. This is a very good Power Soca offering from Bunji but I don't think he entered this competition. It would have been interesting if he was an entrant for the Power Soca Fantastic Friday Competition. However, rest assured everyone will be impacted by his performance in the Groove Soca category with his monster hit "Differentology".

Now take a listen to the iSpaniard aka BlackSpaniard aka Bunji Garlin or as many may know, 'The Gyals Dem Darling' Ian "Bunji Garlin" Alvarez. This one is full of energy and will have many heating up the place and burning calories galore as they fete and have fun for Carnival 2013
