"Shake Dat Body" is the latest release from the artiste known as Ziggy Rankin. Ziggy is all fired up and is releasing his energy on the dancy floor with this fiery track. This one has the right speed loaded with energy to shake up any fete any where. This is what real 'Energy Soca' is all about and it comes to you via the "Party Harty Riddim".
If you noticed above I used the words 'Energy Soca' to describe the music but you can call it Power Soca if you want too.
I used the word 'Energy' because that is the vibe I get when listening to Ziggy sing. The man is bursting with energy and one can feel it in his music and his strong vocals. Of course you can dispute the authenticity of the Soca beat and use the term Island Pop to describe the music. I won't dispute that but keep in mind that almost every new release falls under the banner of Soca.
This is the kind of song that you will see people 'getting on crazy in fetes' across Trinidad and Tobago. This is not a groovy track so drink a red bull or two to keep up with this riddim. Keep in mind that the ladies will shake their bodies and if you can't keep up don't try and be a hero... you will always come in second place.
I enjoyed listening to Ziggy's strong vocals and the music production was slamming. This song is one to watch as the fetes gear up for 2013. This song/production gets the Zagada thumbs up!
