You know how we say it and especially how we do it, we take a Lil Bit of this and add a Lil Bit of that and voilà , it is done and it is good. Damn, just take Lil Bits and all will be well; we wont curry favor anything, just give the listeners the real deal - a song for the steel pan! When you listen you may conclude that may have been the thinking of Junior Ibo Joseph when he produced this track with a Soca Rhythm for a Calypso dominated competition aka 'Panorama'!
The song was written by Sherrard Churche, produced and mixed by Ibo, mastered by Precision Productions and the secret ingredient that made all work was added to put it all in sync, "Lil Bits"!
I am sure that you can tell that I favor this selection but that does not mean that I think it is the 'one' that will cause Panorama music lovers to want their band of choice to play on the big stage (at the Queen's Park Savannah). When I listened to the song immediately liked the clean sound and arrangement that came through my head phones (the start of the music reminded me of one of Shadow's song). I liked the sound of Lil Bits voice but I had some problems with her diction (more of a vocal issue and not something to fix in the mix). I just could not 'easily understand' what she was saying. Apart form that I really liked the body of work.
