Yes the song has lyrics that glorify drinking and hands in the air with rags and flags but it is a song that has a story. It is a story about how people jump up and have fun in "My City" during the festival of Carnival. For that reason I will give the lyrics for this song a pass. OK, this one gets the thumbs up. The song is a good one and this is one that I broke my rule to listen just one time and write about it; I played it again and decided that there is something good going on with this track.
The music done by Precision Production is really good - well, what did you expect from that talented team from down south! I like the vibe that Precision put in the song. We have strong carnival lyrics and feting style vocals with a very melodious dance track. This song is guaranteed to make you dance and I especially like the way the music ended. It gives one the feeling that part two of this music track is on the way.
Hey KC that is a cue to do something with this very sweet rhythm done for this song. I know that music done for a singer makes the song unique but this one begs for additional vocals from other singers.
