DJ Power is set to release his follow-up single and video to his current hit “Fly So High” with Soca superstar Machel Montano and rapper Kardinal Offishall. The track “Makeup” recorded with dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel was recorded just weeks before Vybz's arrest in 2011.
The Badnuz and Power produced track will be released in the next few weeks with an animated video to follow. “The track we did is a crazy mix of electro-house, soul and dancehall, I’m happy we were able to complete it but we had so much more stuff in the works”, states Power. His current video “Fly So High” has been added to MTV, VH1, Muchmusic, and more including Top 10 on Dance music station BPM TV.
The official “Fly So High” remix was produced by Kingston based Redselecter (Stereo Massive) who’s production credits include Sean Paul’s “Bless di Nation” on Ultra and Martin Solveig’s “Hello” remix. The remix is available Nov. 27th on Itunes, Beatport and Monkeybars.net. a new social platform which allows fans to share in revenues by recommending content.
