"Ah Feel" is a song that is a song full of musical 'niceness'. This is the latest release from the artist know as Gogg and features the voice of Sagga. The song is rhythmically rocking from beginning to end. You have the ability to enjoy the strings of a guitar rhythm that invites you to dance and 'get on nasty'.
This song is one that was done for a young at heart crowd. The lyrics are geared to the young revelers, the ones that drive the fetes and can't control their hormonal ravages of youth. This is a song to make you dance and have a good time.
If you are the type of person who is looking for something special with the lyrics then this is not the song for you. However, if you understand the youth then you will have a better understanding why these lyrics will resonate well with the younger generation of music lovers. The music is nice and has a vibe to it. This one may not get much rotation on the radio because these young men are not well known but the music is sweet. Listen again and you too will like and understand the 'vibe'.
Lyrics:
Nothing to brag about but lyrics that the youth can and will relate too and enjoy. If you pay attention to what is going on today then you will understand why the young people will love these lyrics
Vocals:
Strong and clear with good diction. These young men did a good job with their vocals. Never mind the parlance (easily understood by Trinidadians), they did a good job.
Music/Production:
This is one of the strong points of this production. I don't have the information about the production but the music, especially the guitar on the track, is excellent. Well done!
Replay Worthiness/Lasting Appeal:
This will be a problem for these young men especially when it comes to receiving the radio play they expect. As an unknown artiste it is difficult to get the radio jocks to put and 'unknown' on rotation. That is the death sentence for new and upcoming artists. I wish them well - tell your friends to listen the track on Islandmix and on this blog!
