Wine Up is a new release from a relatively unknown artist out of Trinidad. However, don't say that to those in the know... we are just late! There is a new wave of young singers working with producers that may not be popular or the name of those doing the producing may not be familiar as one Kasey Phillips of Precision Productions. However, they have something to offer and they are coming forward with the youthful singers.

This song is one that may not hit you at first but if you listen you will find something different about the music and the lady singing on the track. Granted that the lyrics could have gone in a different direction we have to listen to the same 'Wine Up' themed song that is typical for Carnival releases. I like the music but the lyrics could have been better! Songs driving young people to only want to 'wine, wine up, and wine and roll or whatever are over used and tiresome now. I will give this one a pass for now and will keep and eye out for better lyrical content from this young singer.
