Love Army | Machel Montano & Friends | Tribute Song

This song was written and sung to celebrate the 50Th Anniversary of Trinidad and Tobago's Independence. As one can see there are ten artists singing on the track with Machel taking the lead vocal to start the track with his trade mark vocals.

The title of the track is Love Army and is all about national pride... forged from the love of liberty as we always sing in the national anthem. The voice that I enjoyed listening on the track is that of Isaac Blackman. He gave the song his trade mark sound and is the voice that I will remember from this song. Songs of National Pride do not come often and not by a solid group of chosen artists. It would have been nice to hear David Rudder's voice on this track.

This song presented here is a song that is written to stir up national pride and remind us that as a nation we are one people. In other words, united we stand and divided we will fall (and fail of course). We need to feel safe exhibit love for one another again. Today the society is in decline and racist tendencies are showing up in every sphere of our lives and especially the media. We need love, we need a 'Love Army' to take back our nation.  Enjoy the vocals... enjoy the music!
