J'Ouvert Morning is one of the best segments of any Carnival celebration anywhere Trinidad style carnival are held. So what is so special about this rendition by Lyrika and Ace? Well apart from the fact that the song has a very nice vibe to it one has to take note that this is a production done in the US and comes from AHTIK Studios.

J'Ouvert Morning the trackTrinidadians are taking their talents to the World and this one comes just in time for the Boston Carnival 2012.When I listened to the song for the first time I noticed a difference in what is a typical Trinidad rhythm but I did notice shades of Bunji Garlin in the vocal rendition. The music, as mentioned, is not a typical Trini track and it gave me a sense that this is a track with a US stamp and shades of 'up the islands' vibe. The fact that the lyrics deal with the festivals in the US clearly shows that this was done specifically for the US Carnivals namely Boston, Brooklyn and Miami.

Thumbs up to DJFuture of Ahtik for the production of this Asti Riddim.... the music is pounding and the lyrical job by Ace and Lyrikal will be appreciated in every fete that this track touches. From Boston to Brooklyn and finally  Miami... Sweet! This post was originally done to present J'Ouvert Morning but has been modified to present the entire listing of the tracks on the Riddim.
