Madmen Productions have done it again! This time they have featured Zan on a track titled "Party In Love". Now if you haven't been keeping track Madmen have been littering the airwaves with their sweet Island Pop creation. There are those whom are pointing their fingers stating that Island Pop has been around for some time but that is a different discussion.
I will not get into any fracas with anyone regarding the start of Island Pop music. Madmen have already spoken about how they came up with the 'new vibe'. This one will turn out the same as the 'who created Soca discussion or should I really say argument'. Recently Island Pop was mentioned in an article in the US but nothing was mentioned about Madmen... They used the name Shawn Kingston as singing Island Pop (typical America media).
If the other producers don't get moving then Madmen will be the premier production team for Carnival 2012. Not only are they producing hot tracks but the quality is excellent - This looks like it is going to be a Techno Carnival. The clubs will get some of the action with this brand of music. Now you can go clubbing for Carnival and not just to an open air fete to have a good time. I am looking forward to the radio stations getting into the Island Pop groove sooner than later. Ever since Kes appeared on Fox 5 News in NYC "Island Pop' has become the buzz words in the Soca Industry. Well watch out Soca because Island Pop is about to give your musical genre a run for your Soca wave yuh rag, flag and wining ways.
