Here comes Shurwayne (again) with a 'Wheel and come back again' remix of his "Nobody Badda Dan We" song. I hope that you have been keeping notes and noticed that Shurwayne is teaming up with the Jamaican posse to garnish his music with a sweet twist and turn for the Caribbean massive. First it was Keida's song "Good Vibration" and now he has a remix of his very own "Nobody Badda Dan We".
Well things are really heating up as we move closer to the big day, the big event called Trini Carnival - the one that sets the pace and impacts every West Indian style Carnival for the entire year. Shurwayne is getting on and doing his thing.
I did a post on the original version of this song way back on December 8th, 2011. In that post I noted the Barbados connection of the song (Shurwayne is a true Caribbean child) and today we have this wicked remix with Jamaican Dancehall artiste Popcaan. If you don't like the riddim on this remix you are definitely in purgatory awaiting your ticket to the after life final destination... need I say it any differently - yuh dead as hell!
I like this one and the baseline is just sweet carries the song from start to end (translated it means that the baseline is massively wicked). Shurwayne does his thing and Popcaan adds a refreshing lyrical Jamaican twang to the mix. This one should have excellent replay value with its "wine gyal wine" hook. I guess no one is Badda than Shurwayne and Popcaan!
