Bunji, Bunji, Bunji, I could hear the cry now... he is simply sensational! Nothing short of Madderific. This song is simply marvelous. Can someone tell me how many songs Machel Montano has released for this Carnival season? Well it could be 100 or 1000 he has to go back to the studio and pray to come up with something to quiet this storm that Bunji has stirred.
A Cosmic Shift has taken place and it will take the realignment of the planets for anything to come close to this mash up the fete track...it is that good! I could not wait for the music blast to do my post on this song. I saw the islandmix thread chat and posts on Twitter lighting up the Web with people bragging about the lyrical content of the song as well as the crazy mad sweet 'riddim' that Bunji rode across the stars on this Cosmic journey.
Some people liked the flow of the music while others thought that the hook of "Let me see your hand straight up in the air" and "get something and ....wave it, wave it" was just crazy, sweet, and musically wicked. Some people can't wait to tell others about the song. I had to listen, and listen, and listen again, and again, and again... man the song is a real fete 'mash down the place and dance your ass off musical flag waving track' titled "Cosmic Shift!" When you listen to the song listen for the engine room iron creating a maddening melody with the rest of the instrumentation! Get something and....
Just when you thought there was no hope we have "Bunji to the rescue". That young man is loaded with testosterone and has what it takes to make your adrenalin race across your body and make you do strange things. Those of you haters of the Techno/Soca fusion (Island Pop) that you have been 'crying down' since the year started.. what say you now? I thought so... yes the song is simply marvelous!
The vocal endeavor is fantastic; the lyrical quality is very good and talk about replay worthiness - the song is just awesome!
