We are heading back to Trinidad and Tobago to relive some really sweet Groove Soca Music. Why? Simply put, we couldn't help ourselves after listening to DJ Jel's "Carnival Cool Down 2019"! We had to 'get with the program'; listening to the mix on the way to work led to this morning blog impression; now let's 'run wid it'!
Jump aboard as we celebrate talent in abundance, the talent of music producers and artistes who blessed Trinidad and Tobago with some awesome music. Then again, one cannot rest there, DJ Jel orchestrated a superb play-list and crafted one of the best mix-tape that celebrates the music, people and culture of Trinidad and Tobago! All you need to do is press play and pump up the volume.
This is not one of our in-house Friday Jumpstart Mixes but it deserves a spot on this site. We applaud Dj Jel, we applaud the producers and the music and culture of our Caribbean brothers and sisters. Now it is time to Sokah for Soca... just do it with Dj Jel and Sokah2Soca!
