This music post simply features the music releases from KES for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2019. Fans of KES will not be disappointed with the music that this talented group has delivered. We applaud the new music and invite those 'playing mas' (costumed bands) to request Savannah Grass as the song they want to cross the Savannah Stage in Port-of-Spain (our shameless plug for the song that went to number on on the iTunes Reggae Charts).

Just yesterday, Kees released a new song with the beautiful Shenseea out of Jamaica. The song is entitled "Close To Me". It is interesting to note the song writers on this one. As a matter of fact we will post the song credits below for the new music release. What we wanted to point out was the fact that Machel Montano and Jimmy October along with KES, Shenseea and others wrote the song. Check out the notes below.

KES The Band, one of the best out of Trinidad and Tobago. People always see Kees Dieffenthaller when the name KES is mentioned. However, one must keep in mind that he is the voice but the music and creativity that you love so much comes from that close knit group of talented individuals. We love KES The Band and the sweet music they give to us every year.
