Tonight WACK Radio 90.1 brought, via the Internet, sweet Calypso music live from Kaiso House Tent. Those who love Calypso were in for a treat and whilst we don't have the rights to put the artistes music online we are confident that the 'powers who want the art-form to progress and succeed' won't be upset that we share our cultural successes with Calypso lovers all over the World. For this post, we present a song entitled "Loco Broko" sung by Karene Asche.

Trinidad and Tobago is on the verge of a humanitarian crisis with the influx of Venezuelan nationals seeking refuge from hunger and crime in their homeland. Their economy is in ruin and the pain is real. Over 60,000 Venezuelans are reported to be in Trinidad at this time. Because of this population change, our culture, our food our lingo will be influenced by these visitors/refugees. Karene Asche has taken a look at the situation and chose to send a message to the men of Trinidad and Tobago. Those who see an opportunity to take advantage of these women seeking refugee status and those who simply want to  literally 'shack up' with these Venezuelan women... she has a warning for those sharks out there! You might end up mad, broke or both Mad and Broke!
